The talks of PS3 price drops to combat MS's numbers is all well and good but it's harder than most assume. Though a price cut is likely, and don't think it will be as large as most consumers assume. Sony IS currently losing money on each PS3 sold, when/if they drop the price that is even more money lost on each console sale.
Now obviously the price drop will spur console sales, which in turn will spur greater software and peripheral sales, but it is also a gamble. If they can't ...
Lets not get into an argument please, just play the god damn game on your system of choice.
How about we actually talk about....I don't know...maybe Street Fighter 4?
I will get the ball rolling. Who is your character(s) of choice and why?
Mine is Ken. Though some people see Ken/Ryu as the same character, the subtle differences in speed/reach in Dragon punch (sorry couldn't spell original name) completely change the base mechanics of how they are used.
I think it's time for everyone to get over it. It's there opinion, so what, how does it effect your enjoyment of it? I think everyone needs to stop complaining about Journalistic bias and just start playing games again...
This isn't in anyway an attack on PS3 fans but an observation on people complaining on N4G...
Nice article, oh the irony :)
After finally playing the Killzone 2 demo, I'm not sure what I'm going to do. I was going to 'try' and buy a PS3 with Killzone, but for some reason it just didn't do it for me? Maybe it was the over the top expectations I had going in (which is my fault) or the disconnect I had with the controller (I don't feel comfortable playing FPS's with the dualshock), but now I'm undecided...
I would like a personal response Hip Hop Gamer.
Now let me lay the cards on the table. I love smaller sites, and enjoy reading articles from the enthusiast press, but there is one thing you should always keep, and that's your integrity.
I know it is hard for smaller sites to gain the views and recognition the larger sites seem to enjoy, but using unfounded, biased and sensationalist headlines is not the way to go about gaining readers (at least in the long term). <...
Nice headline, it's sure to get hits. The only problem is I tend not to listen to 'fanboys' (of any kind), typically they display irrational and illogical thought processes.
reported for being a tool. If you want to get your point across don't speak like an immature child. Hopefully you get a nice long ban
Yeah Escape from Butcher Bay was awesome, can't wait for this remake and sequel.
Seriously, you are comparing a JRPG to a FPS....
He isn't giving up on the 'console war' because there is no such thing as the console war, this 'war' is only in the minds of immature fanboys. He is a smart man, and one with integrity. He knows full well the competition for market share is a totally different ball game this gen.
By acknowledging their competitors and the increased pressure it puts on maintaining market share, we can expect some interesting and unique things coming out of both hardware and software area's in ord...
I loved Carmen Santiago back in the day, shame about this game though...
Of course It applies to both parties, it was disgraceful the way 'Xbox fans' acted when FFXIII was touted as Multiplatform.
I'm just pointing out what I see in this particular thread.
What a great collectors item to have, plus the money goes to a good cause. Big props to SEGA, you have my respect.
Don't forget this is Microsoft's second console and they haven't been in the business anywhere near the amount of Sony...Give them time. Sony's success with the PS1 and even greater sales with PS2 ensured they had the money to develop 1st party studios. It was/is a fantastic move as their competition got more fierce, they have many 1st party studio's to still differentiate their system.
Microsoft haven't had that luxury, 'relatively' poor sales of the Xbox and now a gradual but s...
I will definitely be following this story. Though graphics certainly don't make a game (imo) it will be interesting to see how this turns out. The graphical ability of this game added to the overall immersion, I'm wondering how the Wii will deal with this hurdle...
Great news though.
I'm not going to argue with a silly child, the name calling does nothing but prove you don't actually understand the comments you are making. Opinion is just that, an opinion, refer to your earlier comment AGAIN (for the slow):
Again not everyone hated it, its down to opinion but saying Final Fantasy 12 overshadowed Star Ocean 3 is seriously a joke at best."
You don't see the irony in that statement do you? You say that it is down to opinion, then contradict it ...
I'm sure the hilarious satire of this video will be missed by many :)
There I was thinking PS3 owners would be happy the game is coming to their system, instead by the above comments you guys are more happy it's just not 360 exclusive anymore....
Get a life.
Enjoy the games, not just for what system they are on...
To be honest, I don't know why the PSP sells so much. I mean it is a technically brilliant handheld and it definitely has some interesting attributes, but the software lineup is lacking.
I personally think the DS has a considerably stronger software lineup in spite of it's technical limitations.
I'm certainly open to hearing your criticism and would love to know of any up and coming PSP titles that will change the currently weaker lineup.
